MEXICO, Mexico City, pillar 8 reales, Philip V, 1743 MF. Yonaka-M8.43; KM-103; Cal-1463. 24.41 grams. Heavily corroded around the date but otherwise sharply detailed, dark gray toning on fields. Pedigreed to the Steve Valentine Collection, with original certificate from the salvor/conservator. Recovered from: Reijgersdaal, sunk in 1747 off South Africa
